The Chef

Originally from Madeira, Paulo Nobrega’s first contact with cooking was at home, in a family environment that instilled respect for ingredients and classical techniques. With formal culinary training and a diverse professional background, he developed an approach rooted in simplicity and the authenticity of flavours.

Today, his cuisine reflects the inspiration of the Portuguese Atlantic coast, combining classical traditions with a modern and creative approach, always deeply connected to the product.

Aurora is a Jersey cow, sponsored by Story as part of a project by Ortodoxo, in Vila Franca de Xira. More than just a name, she represents a commitment to the origin of ingredients, quality, tradition, and the local economy.

Raised on 100% organic pasture and integrated into a sustainable production system, Aurora contributes to the creation of artisanal cheeses used in the restaurant, strengthening the connection between Story, the producer, and the guest.
